These extraordinary photographs were taken across the fields towards Lavenham on the afternoon that the effects of Storm Ophelia passed across Suffolk, on 16th October 2017. Although overcast and extraordinarily dark for most of the afternoon (owing to the vast quantity of airborne dust being carried in the atmosphere) just before sunset the cloud cover broke turning the whole sky an eerie 'Martian' red!
