Pottery by Janet Allan

Janet opens her gardens to the public anually on behalf of the Henry Doubleday Research Association, (exponents of organic husbandry in all its forms), of whom she is a keen supporter. Her expertise has been widely recognised, and she has featured in the "Muck & Magic" TV programme.

It is therefore possibly not surprising that Janet seeks to incorporate a similar "back to basics" approach into her potting. Her particular interest is in rustic earthenware, decorated in her own home made wood ash glazes.
